Believe it or not, a surface isn’t just a surface.
You’ll find there are different techniques based on the kind of surface you’re painting. Whether you’re looking to spruce up furniture, create some unique handmade crafts or give old furniture a fresh new look, painting can be the solution! In this guide we’ll walk you through everything you need to know to be able to paint a wide variety of surfaces. Different materials accept paint in different ways, so it’s crucial to select the right type of prep for your surface. For furniture, wood and wood veneers tend to work best; these surfaces will generally require a good clean and scuff sand. Other common materials for furniture include plastic, ceramic tile and melamine which are often hard to paint. They are often slick, shiny and difficult to paint. The prep for these surfaces would need our adhesion primer, Ultra Grip.

Thank,you
Hello, I am new to fusion paint and I’m wondering do you have tutorials on staircases and banisters?
I have a solid orangey oak looking staircase with a carpet runner. I’d love to add some black accents I am not sure if you can just stain right over that oak or is paint best?
Thank you;)
