You know we love color around here so we are so super excited to be announcing this! Fusion is coming out with a new color and we need YOU to help us name it. This limited edition pink is stunning and really needs a name to match it’s big personality. We need YOUR help naming this very special color. 

That’s right, you get a chance to name our brand new pink paint color!!!

What’s even better? This pink paint is in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month of October and proceeds from the sale of each container will go to breast cancer research.

How did this vibrant color come about?

Well Fusion Mineral Paint’s CEO, Jennylyn Pringle had gotten to know the very talented furniture artist Julie Naima from Rêves en couleurs. She does absolutely extraordinary work with Fusion Mineral Paint. Her pieces are amongst the most talked about in our Paint it Beautiful group and for good reason.

Jennylyn was inspired and such a fan of her work that when Julie asked for a custom pink color to be added to the line as a limited edition and Jennylyn agreed that it would be an amazing asset to Fusion’s color collection.

Julie will be doing a custom piece with Fusion’s new pink shade in honour of the colors launch. And in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month and we can’t wait to share it with you. Here is a sneak peak…

Another great example of this fun pink was finished by another Fusion favorite, Nicky at “Done Up North”. Her use of geometrics and colors are just so unique and fun. We are beyond thrilled to have a piece created by her.

Giving back to the community and various charities that are close to us is something we do at Fusion regularly. We make private donations and work with charities to use paint as a way to heal our community.

Some of our causes include:

• Homes & Havens not only provides painted pieces to people in need, they also offer paint therapy workshops for women suffering from trauma.
• Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund – provides camp organizations with funds to send underprivileged and special needs Toronto children to summer camp for free.
• Just Paws Animal Rescue – a non-profit organization that rescues animals and re-homes them, operating on a foster home and no-put down policy.
• The Scott Mission – an Ontario-based charity that feeds, shelters, and serves homeless, poor, and otherwise vulnerable people.
• United Way – a global non-profit organization that supports each community based on its needs.
• Moosenee Puppy Rescue – provides rescue and some veterinary services to remote Northern Ontario communities. This is where vets are rare and dogs are often not spayed or neutered.
• PAWS Canada – a shelter where homeless, abandoned and abused animals are given safe haven.
• UNICEF – humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries.
• CAMH – The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital. As well as one of the world’s leading research centres in the area of addiction and mental health. CAMH combines clinical care, research, education, policy development and health promotion to help transform the lives of people affected by mental health and addiction. 

It is an important part of what we do, giving back where we can and we felt this new color and cause were a great fit. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer. It is important to us, as we say, to paint it forward.

How do you get involved?

We need you to help choose a name for this color. You have until Monday, October 8th, 2018 at Midnight EST to do so. The person who wins will be the first person to receive a pint of this new color. They also have the honor of naming a Fusion color (that’s a first for us!). And if that wasn’t amazing enough, we will also be sending you a Fusion prize pack worth $200!
