Paint is awesome. We truly believe in changing the world one brushstroke at a time. But believe us when we say, not all furniture paints are created equal! Here is why you should choose fusion.
You may wonder why Fusion Mineral Paint is different. Why should you choose Fusion for your project?
The answers are pretty simple.
Fusion has been in development for over 25 years. You can be sure of the technology, stability and knowledge that stands behind the beautiful colours and finish achieved with Fusion.
We hear time and again from customers that they love not having to apply a top coat. Knowing that the durability is amazing is wonderful for peace of mind.
Fusion allows you to get a fantastic finish, to layer, to add interest, to distress and so much more.
The range of complimentary accessory products, whilst not always required, add interest and depth. Take a look at our waxes, Stains and Fresco.
Just look at this beautifully refinished chair from Anderson & Grant in Fusion colour, Champlain.
You can get incredibly smooth, brush stroke free lines – perfect for MCM, or modern looks. We love this super simple beauty from Q is for Quandie using our Laurentian and Champlain.
See how beautiful the finish is?
So if you are not sure about Fusion, or have yet to try it, go and see your nearest Fusion retailer or order on-line. You will not be disappointed!
We promise you will love it as much as we do!
Just wondering…do you stir the paint before applying?
Great question, it’s never a bad idea, however we make our paint so that it doesn’t separate, the quality of the ingredients are so excellent, and the way we create our dispersion that you won’t see it separating like others on the market. A super quick stir with a brush and you’re set! Tip- turn your container upside down for a few minutes, then tip it up right- that helps to even everything out too!
Thanks. Just a FYI, kitchen cabinets were painted and the coverage was outstanding. Less than two quarts and 3 coats of Raw Silk.
Great to hear ! Thank you!
I saw a demonstration on Facebook of painting a leather chair. Is this really possible? Is the paint that flexible to withstand use? I have a leather recliner that is showing some cracking on the seat and arms. I would like to paint it, but worry that daily use may be a problem. Does it need to be waxed or sealed?
I find painting fabric is great instead of reupholstering or tossing it! IT’s amazing how well the paint holds up. IT is smooth on leather or vinyl, and doesn’t feel like a coating is on it at all. Cotton feels different, more stiff. It will withstand use, within reason of course!
If I buy the fusion mineral in casement to do my cabinets can I put General Finish High Performance on top of the Fusion Mineral Paint? Thank you.

Yes you can use any other top coat you like.
Jennylyn, I have found that the white shades of Fusion don’t pair well with GF High Performance, leaving a rust-ish color on them. Any thoughts?
sounds like the GF coatings are leaving a yellow tinge behind, many waterbased and oil based top coats will do that. Has nothing to do with the paint underneath.
Jennylyn, it’s not yellow – it’s an actually red/orange rust color. I’ve had this ONLY on Fusion’s whites – raw silk, champlain, casement… I just thought maybe it was a bad reaction? I even have good luck on the lighter blues. Thanks for your response!
Very strange! I don’t think we’ve ever heard of that so not sure what could be causing that.
I would like to paint laminated cabinets. They are particleboard with a glued on laminated wood like veneer. Can I just paint over the laminate with Fusion paint? Any prep needed? Thanks for any info.

Can I use the tough coat on milk or chalk paint?
Yes you can on both !!!!
Can I use this paint to paint my kitchen? I want to do a primative mustard yellow, but I would like it to look like the chalk finish, but be able to wash it down as well.
Yes !! It dries as a washable matte finish
