Fusion Mineral Paint is great for exterior projects, from painted pots to doors. It’s very water resistant and durable for all seasons. This shed needed a refresh and Mist was the perfect candidate to make the door look fresh! This periwinkle contrasts beautifully against the white flowers. We also painted the vintage bike and hanging basket on the door with Mist. Picket Fence was used to paint the bike seat and handlebars. So follow along to see this painted shed door & vintage bike.

Painting an outside door
No other prep was needed to prepare our door for painting. We first painted with a flat brush around the molding. We then rolled the paint on the paint with the 18cm Staalmeester roller brush. Two coats completely covered the door.
No Top Coat Needed!
Fusion mineral paint is excellent for exterior finishes so we didn’t use a top coat product. Fusion has a topcoat built into the formula!
