Getting started with Fusion Mineral Paint
We gave the dresser a good cleaning with Fusion TSP Alternative which we diluted in water to remove any grease residue. This should be done before any sanding so as not to push contaminates into the surface. The dresser also had lots of leftover tape residue all over. To clean this we rubbed some Fusion Odourless Solvent on those particular spots with a rag and it removed the tape residue entirely.
We then wiped it clean again and scuff-sanded all over. Sanding isn’t always needed and if your surface has a matt sheen. In that case, just clean you can just go ahead and paint. See more prep details here.
Everett, New Fusion Mineral Paint Colour
Everett is one of our most complex colours with multiple undertones, this aged and weathered green has subtle bronze undertones. This colour is earthy and grounding, and sure to be a staple colour in any home. Pair with Bedford for a tonal balance or Cobblestone for a rustic natural vibe.
Painting the Dresser
We then applied two coats of Fusion Everett using the Staalmeester Series One wide flat brush for the top surface. For the remainder of the dresser, we painted using the Staalmeester 1-1/2” wide flat brush. This colour has great coverage with just one coat!
After our paint dried, we wanted to add some depth to some of the perimeters and also around the dresser. To do this, we applied some Fusion Black Wax with an Artist’s Brush. Get the wax into the nooks and crannies. Allow to dry for a few minutes and then wipe off the excess. You want to leave just a hint of the black wax in the recessed areas.

Fusion Mineral Paint Everett
You’ll definitely want to check out this new colour and how it compares to our other greens. When compared to Bayberry on the left, whic has a brighter olive yellow undertone green, Everett is richer and deeper with a slightly bluish undertone. When compared to Pressed Fern on the right Everett shows off its mid-tone, muted, softer green features.
Hi I would like to know when will this colour be released in Australia.
