The snow is melting away here in Canada and the spring bulbs and snowdrops are pushing up through. Which is marking the beginning of spring. Every spring, I just get this feeling that I want to paint everything in beautiful pastel hues. It really lightens up a home. Recently, I have noticed beautiful pastels popping everywhere. This is a clear sign that a spring pastel paint trend is about to erupt! Our Tones for Tots range is the perfect range of pastel colours to keep a space light and airy. I took some time to pair some of my favourite pastels from the Tones for Tots line with one of my other favourite new colours, English Rose!
Pastels like Little Whale, Little Lamb and Little Miss Piggy have the ability to bring the perfect amount of colour to a room.
We saw this when we hosted a spring themed blog post. Make sure you check each of the beautiful projects. We saw the pastel paint trend come to life reading each of the blog posts. We have another project to share from our friend Marianne from Songbird Blog.
Marianne upcycled some old pots out of her garage and just brought spring right into her home!
If fashion runways are the first mark of a new trend, we know pastels are going to be making moves in 2018! “Ice cream” pastels were a huge hit on the New York runways this year according to Harpers Bazaar. We love when we see fashion reflecting our personal favs! We are forecasting that Pastel Paints are going to be BIG this year. You heard it here first, an ice cream inspired, pastel paint trend is about to hit the interior design world.
