Creating your landscape design

Ensure that your dresser is clean and free of any dirt or debris by using Fusions TSP Alternative. Dilute the solution and wash your piece thoroughly. Lightly Scuff sand and remove any dust.

Start with a base coat, use Fusion’s Victorian Lace and apply two coats allowing proper drying time between each coat.

Once your base coat is completely dry, it’s time to draw the design with some chalk. Sketch out the design ahead of time on some paper first as a guide.

Add in the colours of your landscape. Choose blocks of 2, 3, or 4 different colours and choose where they will go on your design. You can also layer multiple shades of the same colour to create exciting custom blends. Let each colour dry before adding another layer of paint. We recommend using Staalmeester artist brushes for the outline of the design.
